WPA client, production designer Laia Ateca sat down with Harper’s Bazaar to discuss her approach to designing the Oscar-nominated film, ‘Sirāt’.

“Sirāt is a film with multiple messages: “When we were initially creating the film, it had another title: After. For me, it spoke a lot about the extended essence of being human: you think you are yourself because you have your home, your family , or something else around you. When you lose everything, what are you? What is your essence?””
